Consumer Healthcare Business Unit Senior Director

Position Summary

The BUD will oversee Consumer Healthcare business. He/She will be responsible for achieving business results, through coordination of assigned staff, coordinating with other Local and Global functions and with other Prescription BU/Franchise.

Key themes of the role will be:

- Manage whole Angelini Consumer Healthcare brands portfolio, experiencing and leading full range of leverages, with responsibility of the P&L of the Business Unit

- Manage the Moment brand, one of the most important local jewels in the Angelini portfolio, a leader in the analgesics market, with a significant and targeted investment plan in the coming years

- Lead both sales and marketing team (Sales team, Marketing and Trade Marketing roles, Media Management)

  • Manage complexity: numerical data, large organization structure, different products, targets and markets
  • Be a change agent and supporting cultural change

Responsibilities

•      He/She will be responsible for the P&L of the Business Unit. He/she will be accountable for elaborating and proposing to the General Manager the annual and 3-year business plan for the BU, driving top-line growth, ensuring sustainability, and optimizing profitability of the brand portfolio. This will encompass defining turnover, promotional spending, and margin targets, as well as identifying strategies and priorities for achieving them, and ensuring their effective implementation.

•      He/She will be responsible of business performance in terms of market shares growth, sales accuracy, spending accuracy, margin, defining and implementing the appropriate corrective actions in the event of deviations, to achieve the expected objectives;

•    Ensure constant oversight marketing and communication strategies, in compliance with current legislation, to ensure Brands awareness and positioning consistent with Company's strategies and objectives;

•       He/She ensure proper skill development, provide coaching and feedback to all his/her team;

•        He/She will develop the talent of individuals so that they reach their full potential and can contribute to the talent pipeline.

  • Implement business strategy with direct exposure with LT members and CEO
  • Drive portfolio evolution (launch new products, portfolio optimization…)
  • Collaborate on portfolio and communication strategy with Global CH Franchise on global brands (TVerde and TCare)

Pivotal Experience & Expertise

 

  • Experience as BUD (3-5 years), with proven track record of success, in managing structured Sales&Marketing teams in OTC companies
  • Delivered top-line growth and bottom-line performance.
  • Experience in FMCG market during the working path will be considered a strong asset
  • Excellent managerial and strong strategical planning skills
  • Experience in managing digital change projects
  • Consolidated finance and analytical skills
  • Experience in organizational changes and international experience will be considered a plus
  • Fluent in written and spoken Italian and English
  • Entrepreneurial approach

Location Roma

The salary for this role starts from €142,400 gross per year (mimimun of banding), depending on experience and location. The offer is determined based on gender-neutral criteria, including relevant skills, competencies, and experience.
