Title: Global Strategic P&R Associate Director
Location: Europe Hybrid – Rome
As a Global Strategic P&R Associate Director, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of global pricing and reimbursement strategies for the company’s portfolio, with the ultimate goal of delivering patient access to innovative therapies while optimizing pricing and reimbursement outcomes. This includes assessing P&R potential for all in-licensing opportunities, at any development stage (e.g. from POC till PhIV). Reporting to the Global Access & Value Chief, you will work closely with other functions such as Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Business Development and Regulatory to ensure that the company's products are appropriately priced, reimbursed, and listed on formularies. This role will focus in particular on new incoming product launches.
Main accountabilities:
Develop and execute global pricing and reimbursement strategies for the company’s portfolio, with the aim of optimizing access to innovative therapies while ensuring sustainable and profitable growth for the business
Validate country-specific pricing and reimbursement strategies for key markets, in collaboration with local teams
Analyse pricing and reimbursement trends across different geographies and therapeutic areas to inform global pricing and reimbursement strategies
Conduct global and country-specific pricing and reimbursement research to support evidence-based decision-making
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including payers, HTA bodies, patient groups, and KOLs
Develop and execute global pricing and reimbursement communication plans for internal and external stakeholders
Provide support and guidance to local market access teams to ensure consistency in pricing and reimbursement strategies across different geographies
Provide top-notch P&R potential assessment for all assets presented by Business Development
Requirements:
Advanced degree in a relevant field such as health economics, business administration, or life sciences preferred
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in global pricing and reimbursement, in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with particular focus on global product launches in specialist therapeutical area.
Knowledge of global pricing and reimbursement systems, processes, and trends
Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from complex data sets
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute pricing and reimbursement strategies that deliver results
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Fluency in English, Italian is a plus
