Job Title:  SENIOR MEDICAL SCIENCE LIAISON

Angelini Pharma is looking for a brilliant candidate to fill the position as Medical Science Liaison, for Center-South Italy.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Spread key scientific messages related to product portfolio of competence (Specialty portfolio: Brain Health and Mental Health – Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorders, New product for rare diseases, indicated for neurodevelopmental disorders associated with epilepsy).
• Scientifica Insights gathering and collecting trough the meeting with KOLs and main stakeholders on field.
• Spread medical-scientific knowledge of the reference product to external scientific stakeholders (e.g. Medical Meeting) by sharing the scientific contents with the Medical Affairs Advisor.
• Pre-launch activities for the new product according to the company global and local strategy.
• Prepare and constantly update, in agreement with the relevant Medical Affairs Advisor, the scientific material to be used in the training sessions (e.g. launch events, new hires / line changes, update on medical class’s input, material for the evaluation of learning, etc.);
• Manage all requests of a medical scientific nature related to products coming from health professionals (doctors, pharmacists, etc.), either directly or through the sales force in the area and share them with the team for the realization.
• Collaborate with other corporate functions in reference to the organization of events aimed at launching new products, at Medical Meeting and at other meetings with the medical class at local and / or national level.
• Active participation in team meetings and cross-functional meetings (local and global) to ensure alignment and share strategies.
• Establish and take care of relationships with the main Opinion Leaders of the therapeutic area of competence.
• Activate and support sponsored studies conduction.
• Take constant training of local ISFs on pathologies and products.                    

SKILLS REQUIRED 

• Scientific degree Medicine, Biology or Biosciences
• Fluent written and spoken English (B2)
• 2/3 years’ experience as Medical Science Liaison
• Good knowledge GCPs and medical writing English
